"Nine Glorious Mountains" is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. The highest peak is 1342 meters above the sea level!
Spend a night in the temple, eat with monks, see the real temple life, see the sunset and sunrise from the mountain top! It's your unique chance to see one of the most incredible places near Shanghai! The mountain is also noted for its natural landscapes featuring old pines, green bamboo forests, strange rocks, waterfalls, streams and caves.

Schedule:

Day 1
18:30 Meet at People's square
19:00 The bus departs
01:00 Arrive to the hostel and sleep
Day 2:
8:30 Breakfast
9:30 Drive to the foot of the mountain
10:00 Start our hike and enjoy the views
13:00 Lunch break and a short rest
17:00 Arrive to the monastery and see the sunset from the top
18:00 Temple dinner with monks. Socializing and watching the stars at night!

Day 3:

07:00 Breakfast
8:00 Hike to see the most famous peaks. Go down from the mountain by stairs.
13:30 Lunch
14:30 Go back to Shanghai
21:30 Arrive to Shanghai and wait for another chance to meet
