Music plays a powerful role in our lives. The natural combination of music and movement experiences impacts children”s cognitive,social,emotional, and physical skills in the everyday routines of the classroom and home settings.
Do you want to keep your students active and motivated?
Instructor Brittany Dunn will lead you into her fun, interactive workshop that will explore ways of integrating music and movement in the early childhood classroom setting. If you are a parent then you can easily recreate the classroom excitement at home.
In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of how songs, playing a simple rhythm instrument and chanting rhythmic rhymes enhance children’s imagination and creativity. Explore ways that can be used in classrooms and at home to engage the child’s body, mind and spirit in learning.
