Are you looking for affordable housing in Beijing? Are you a student, have a job, or an internship but don't know where to stay? Do you want to learn what the Chinese daily life consists of? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Homestay might be the right option for you!
Homestays can help you sharpen your language skills and offers a window into a foreign culture. Homestay can also be a cheap alternative to living on your own and saves you the hassle of signing leases and setting up utilities. At B.E.I.T., our program matches travelers with local host families at a very affordable price. Our staff even finds hosts near your work or school so you don't have to commute very far on a daily basis!
At B.E.I.T we offer three different options for Homestay applicants:
Option 1: Conversation Partner (Summer Availability Only)
Tutor a host family for 10-15 hours per week. In return participants are provided with a private room, breakfast & dinner every day. Participants in our 10-15 hour program will also be awarded a bonus upon completion of this program at the price of 1000 RMB per month!

Option 2: Conversation Friend
Tutor a host family for 5 hours per week. This option is ideal for busy participants who want to enjoy a homestay, but don't have much spare time for tutoring. This option is ideal for working professionals, interns, and students! The only requirement for this program a high proficiency in English (Phone Interview Required).

When you sign up for Homestay with B.E.I.T you will also receive the following services:
Chinese Visa Assistance
Airport Pick-Up Service (optional)
Post-Arrival Orientation
24/7 Emergency Assistance from B.E.I.T.
Residence Registration assistance at local police station upon arrival.
Access to cultural and social events with our other homestay participants!
