Description: Along with the rapid growth of Chinese society and economy, more and more rural adults leave for the city. As a result, a new minority group has emerged in the villages—rural children left behind. These children grow up lacking proper care at the most critical period of their growth, lacking education, guidance, and proper mental development. Our program will bring you to experience their lives by helping them do household duties and farm work (such as gathering corn, removing weeds, etc.); repairing houses and roads; and helping guide them in their school work and physical health. Finally, you will help teach them how to safely handle earthquakes, fires, and other natural disasters.
