Nanny, part-time (weekday mornings) Baby-Sitter

Hello. Our family is seeking childcare help (baby-sitting) for mainly weekday mornings (roughly 8:30am till 12 noon), and some afternoons.

Duties are simple: keep our 4 y.o. child safe - protected (from self and others, and away from other dangers), fed - healthy diet of simple foods is okay (fried rice, fruits, etc. NO pork products!), make him happy but not spoiled - through (educational) playful activities - Be his friend!

Our son is very bright and quite rambunctious (active) - he is full of energy, to learn and play! He is very MULTI-CULTURED. As a foreigner, he is not accepted in the local Chinese kindergartens, so we teach him a lot at home (pre-school things) as both parents are teachers anyway. Dad has stable work hours in the mornings, while the Mom is often away on travel in her education job!

We normally use three (3) languages in our home: English,Chinese and Korean (although he can count and say basic things in Spanish, Japanese, etc). Our son is FLUENT in both Chinese and English, and very knowledgeable (responsive) in Korean, as well. Our child LOVES TO TALK (about everything)!

Sometimes (as he is used to) actually goes to work with his parents, but mostly stays at home until we (mainly Dad) return(s) from work.The Nanny will have (temporary) access to the home environment (extra key), including TV, kitchen to help keep our child entertained and safe! We usually hire such PT day-care before, but now we have come to a new area/new jobs. Limited friends/neighbors have helped to check on him and his well-being, as well!

After checking qualifications - The Baby-sitter must be caring & responsible; pro-active, fun & intelligent, lively and energetic; patient, warm & friendly, understanding, ideally able to speak/understand at least SOME English. A younger, yet mature, modern (open-minded) lady is preferred to help watch our kid!
