Shenzhen work visa application has become more and more popular for expats who want to work in China, since more and more expats choose to work in Shenzhen. Therefore, it is necessary to have a knowledge of information on how to get the work visa.

There are two steps to get the work visa: work permit and residence permit. Generally speaking, in terms of the required documents, there are two types of situations: for legal representative/ chief representative, or employees.

The required documents for foreign employees should have the follows:
a. The applicant’s scanned passport copy, the latest visa page, and the latest entry record to China
b. Original Business License of the company and the company seal
c. The employment permit application form
d. The applicant’s body examination report in China
e. The applicant’s education certificate
f. The applicant’s resume
g. The applicant’s labor contract with the employer
