Expats who are employed in Shenzhen could apply for work visa, here is the procedures:

-obtaining work permit
-Z visa invitation letter
-get Z visa in your home country or HK
-Back china to get work license
-get residence permit

Usually at least one month before current visa expire to start application is required
Documents including your personal documents like: passport, photo, healthy form, education certificate etc and your employer's documents, like business license, organization code etc.
