2-bedroom apartment in Kecun available until September 31, 2015. I decided to move in with a friend which is why it has opened up. No, there are no real estate agent fees. The rent does not include utilities and management fees.

The apartment is located in central Guangzhou, Haizhu district, a 5-minute walk to Kecun station. This is the intersection of lines 3 and 8 (orange and teal).

Kecun is a very safe and convenient neighborhood. It is located two stops from Zhujiang New Town, and four stops to Pazhou (Canton Fair Complex)

The airport is about an hour north on line 3. The apartment is within walking distance to shops and restaurants such as Starbucks, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and a supermarket. There is also a street with cheap eats if you're feeling more adventurous.

Just inside the apartment complex there are large trees and birds (yes, you can hear actual birds). It's really quiet and there are no construction projects nearby, which seems to be endemic to Guangzhou. So, thankfully there is no dynamite in the morning.

The apartment is special in that it overlooks a green space (unfortunately) named the Textile Institute of Technology or TIT. It used to be an old t-shirt factory during the 1950's and 60's and now it has been converted into design studios, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. It's a fun place to walk around where you can notice details such as Banyan trees and brick buildings.

Across from the street (Kecun exit D) there is the Starlight Walk and you can find things like Starbucks, Subway, Trust-Mart (supermarket), China Mobile, and some really good restaurants.
